Griddle Diagnostics

PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

Griddle too hot or 

not hot enough.

Thermostat out of calibration.

Recalibrate thermostat.

Griddle heating unevenly. 

Adjacent section is operating at a different 

temperature. 

Check adjacent section heating.

A defective thermostat.

Replace thermostat.

A defective element.

Replace element.

Griddle was not thoroughly heated 

before use. 

Allow more time for griddle to saturate; 

increase warm up time.
