Beforeself-cleaningtheoven,removethebroilerpangrill

anyotherutensils.

Donotlinetheovenwithaluminumfoilorothermaterials.
Theseitemscanmeltorburnupduringself-cleaningand
causepermanentdamagetotheoven.

Properlycleanandmaintaintheovenasrecommendedin
thismanual.
•
Cleanonlythosepartslistedinthismanual.
•
Useonlythecleaningsolutionsspecifiedinthismanual
tocleanyouroven.Donotuseanycleanersthatare
notspecifiedtocleantheinsideoroutsideoftheoven.
Othercleaningsolutionscouldproducehazardousfumes,
causecorrosionofthemetalparts,andcouldpermanently
damagethefinishes.
•
Takeextremecautionwhencleaningthedoorgasket.
Rubbing,movingorinanywaydamagingthedoorgasket
mayeliminatetherequiredtightdoorseal.Cleanonlyas
specifiedinthismanual.
•
Donotallowacids(citrusjuices,tomatosauces,etc.)to
remainontheovensurfacesinsideoroutsidetheoven.
Theporcelainfinishmaystain.
•
Donotuseasteamcleanertocleantheoven.Steam
couldpenetrateelectricalcomponentsandcauseashort
circuit.
•
Donotleavemetalobjects,suchasaluminumfoil,the
meatprobe,cookiesheets,etc.ontheflooroftheoven.
Objectsleftonthebottomoftheovencouldtrapheatin
thebottom,damagingthebakeelement.Inaddition,the
objectsthemselvescouldbedamaged.
•
Donotallowtheglasspanelsinthetopandbottomofthe
oventobecomecoveredupbycookiesheets,aluminum
foil,pots,pans,etc.Someoftheovensheatingelements
arebehindtheglasspanels.Coveringthemcouldcause
theheatingelementsbehindthemtoover-heat,damaging
theoven.
•
Topreventdamage,removethemeatprobefromtheoven
whenitisnotbeingused.
